should I bother with La Nouba.

The price tag is pretty steep and I'm not related to any oil barons so I don't know if I should get tickets to this or not.

I have seen the disney planing DVD preview of at and was unimpressed by the whole thing but then again I have never seen the show so I don't know. Is it really worth the big ticket price to see some guys in there underwear jumping on trapolines?

Go Go Go! We skipped it for 9 trips but finally went last month. OMG it is the best thing I have ever seen. At the beginning I was like this is boring but then I couldn't turn away. There's so much to look at. We got a discount from our APs so that was nice but I would go again and pay full admission. If you want to really be in awe from your Disney trip go see La Nouba! :)

La Nouba is the best show on Disney property.

If money is an issue, and you're going to be ed because you spent the money to see it, then I would advise to not go. But I would also say, if money is an issue, I wouldn't go to Disney in the first place.

I would also advise to NOT watch DVD's, etc. of Cirque performances. They do not do the show's justice. There is no way television can capture all that is going on at once. I've seen the vids on TV and just turn it off because they do nothing for me. It is an experience instead of just a show. The only other thing I could remotely compare it to would be the Blue Man Group.

I've seen La Nouba and Mystere (in Vegas). I already have tix to see La Nouba again in October and I will see O next time we go to Vegas. I've seen numerous plays and concerts but the Cirque shows are far above them in originality and creativity.

If you do go, I would also advise getting there early and let the "clowns" get you into the Cirque spirit.

YEEEEES! (hehe.. sorry)

You should definitely go! My brother, dad, step mother, and I went to watch it last year. It is expensive, but you won't be disappointed. It is a phenomenal show! Truly. La Nouba is also rated as one of the top Cirque shows. It is something to see. Simply amazing..

Have fun!

It is so worth it but you can get discounts you know. It is such an amazing show, it will leave you guessing saying "how in the world can they do that?"

My wife brought me there last time and I didn't think I'd enjoy it but I really did. I've seen it on tv but it again doesn't do it any justice. The sights and sounds are just incredible. No matter what seat you buy in the house you should have a great view since it's such a small theater. Have a great time.

My sister and I went about a year ago. I enjoyed it immensely, but agree that it was very pricey. My sister hated it and to this day refers to it as the "scary clown show." She said it was like something out of a nightmare. I guess it depends on what your interests are...My sister and I both enjoy "artsy" things but had different takes on this show.

EXACTLY!

That was one of the main ideas behind the show.

In the show, we see into a child's mind, and a child's mind is full of many things. Just as there are fairytales and dreams in our minds, our imaginations create nightmares and dark, disorienting visions.

I saw Alegria when it came to Miami, and all I can say is...wow! It was an amazing show and I can't wait to see how it compares to La Nouba. BTW, the theme song to Alegria is by far the most moving song any Cirque du Soleil show has. Anyone agree?:hammer:

You will definitely be in shock when you see La Nouba. The themeing and design are totally different from each other.

Yes, anytime is great.

Your daughters will probably think it is one of the best Christmas presents they have ever gotten.

My mom got tickets for our trip two years ago, and she gave them to me as a gift for my birthday. It is one of the greatest gifts I have ever had.
