I noticed on the reservation website that the new La Hacienda rest in mexico is not currently on the Dining Plan. Does anybody know why, and if they will be adding it to the plan soon?

Well, this is the second time this week I saw a thread like this, and now you got me wondering....

We called to make ADRs for Hacienda for our trip next month and the Cast Member verified we were on the Dining Plan and made the reservations for us, telling me how She had heard great things about it from a Cast Member friend of Hers that works there already.

Obviously, we're going to show up there with our ADR in 26 days.

Hope they feed us!

Disney blog is now stating its on the dining plan as well. Lots of confusion caused on this one.

We ate at the Hacienda today. We were asked twice if we were part of any dining plans (no is the answer) and we used TiW and it worked as normal.

Great news about TiW! How did you like the restaurant?

We liked it, but it probably isn't what the average tourist is expecting. The menu is VERY limited, with 5 starters, 2 entrees that are for 2 people, one steak and one fish, and only 5 entrees. We had an appetizer that I don't remember the name but it was 3 different things that we thought would be big enough to share but really wasn't. Either way, it was very good. We also had the 2-person seafood entree that was very good. The shrimp was very spicy and I expect the spiciness is probably going to be scaled back after some guest feedback. Especially in this case, as it overpowered the rest of the food. We had the apple empanada for dessert. :slurp: We definitely would eat there again.
