Last year we enjoyed two trips at La Cava..One for Margaritas and the other on our second week for a Tequila Flight. ( we shared the infused flight ) But there was a party of folk daring this dude to down this tequila and eat something..It wasn't until he ate this thing and received a thunderous applaud that we saw the Barman present him with a key ring . I asked to see it and it said " I ate the Scorpion..Worms are for wimps." :eek:...Whit..This dude ate a scorpion for a bet..:jawdrop:..Dead of course..Have any of you done this at La Cava.? Or seen anyone do it..?..I was convinced it wasn't real,but was told yes it was a scorpion..:hungover:

So Mr Hatter, please divulge what is this "Tequila Flight" you talk about, we go in less than 10 days, and always up for trying different alcoholic experiences, also if you could advise me of something that is a 'must do' at La Cava for when we do our drinking around the world would be amazing. In Hatter We Trust :cool:

Good Morning..Have you got a pen and paper handy...Good..Now lets begin..Log onto WWW.PARTYTHROUGHTHEPARKS.COM....Look down the left hand side of the site and click onto Epcot..This should bring up icons of all the countries..Click on Mexico...Then click on La Cava...There you have the whole story and menus of all the Margaritas & Tequila shots,and of course flights & prices..Have a magical flight and vacation..;)

I hate to be a pedant, but tequila dont have worms its certain Mezcals that do. One brand even has two.

Scorpions are nothing compared to Guinness with raw egg, Tabasco and a mars bar. Yam sing that in one.

Not to be a snob, but as someone who loves me all sorts of tequila, the drink you are talking about is mezcal, which is very similar but not the same as tequila. And the only way to get the scorpion is to drink the last shot in the bottle, they won't get the scorpion out for you early. Now I'm going to go back to sipping my Casa Dragones in my cabana;)
