Kouzzina's Closing The Real Reason?

Hello All,
I have only been to Kouzzina's once (for dinner) and thought that the food and service was pretty good. It seemed like a pretty popular restaurant in the boardwalk area. There was the thought that it was underperforming, and was not as popular as when it first opened. Others have said the business relationship between Cat and Disney had become "frosty". Please give your opinion as to why it is closing, or if an "official" reason has come out. Also please recommend a restaurant that you really like in this general area, as an alternative. Thanks for any feedback!!!!!

I presume that it was a licensing issue. Either Cat Cora wanted too much to keep using her name on the restaurant, or Disney just straight-up didn't feel they needed to pay for her name anymore in order to have a successful operation at that location. Yoda is right that it's a fairly easy reservation to get at the last minute. The quality of the food is pretty high for the value. It could just be the the profit margin is not large enough to deal with the low-for-Disney customer turnover.

It always seemed busy enough to sustain itself, though, so I would lean towards the former, but only slightly. All I know is, if this location is replaced with a character meet-and-greet with overpriced and awful food, I will not be pleased. Losing my favorite Disney World breakfast spot is bad enough. Losing it for a Disney-themed Denny's would be a travesty.
