What did they replace Kongfrontation with in Universal :confused: ?I was there last year and they said it was being replaced. It was one of my favorite Universal Rides. :(

The new Mummy rides. It opens fall this year I believe. If you do a search or try IOAcentral.com you'll find more about it! :)

I think the mummy ride in California is opening in the fall. They one that replaced Kongfrontaion should be opening in early march if everything goes as planned.

Ah, good ol' Kongfrontation, one of my favorite Universal Studios Florida rides. It closed in September of 2002, and is now being replaced by Revenge of the Mummy, an indoor thrill ride/coaster. It will be opening in Spring 2004. The E.T. Adventure at Universal Studios Hollywood closed to be replaced by Revenge of the Mummy as well, it will be opening a bit later then ROTM at USF though.

Should be there in around that time frame. I'm not sure if that's the soft opening schedule or the grand opening one. We'll here more from those in the know as time approaches.
