Kona?

We haven't made any reservations for Sunday night and I just saw there is a free table AT kONA AT 10 ... do you recommend it?

I would love to see Poly..is it nice at night?

We love sushi but we have a dining plan and we can to order an entreée.. and I don't see any sushi in the entrées section... just in the sushi section..do you think it will be possible to change that and order sushi for an entree?

Not sure on the sushi thing, but Kona is one of the better restaurants in all of WDW. Their breakfast is especially good.

Poly is beautiful at night!!!!!!! If you get a chance stop in at Tambu and get a Lapu

Another thing. The Poly is the only place you can get a Dole Whip outside MK. So after dinner, get some Dole Whips from the Pineapple Lenai and make your way to the beach to watch the Electrical Water Pageant. It's usually at 9 pm.

Yes. Not the best sushi I have ever had, but it is good.

You do however need to pay attention to the ingredients and not necessarily the name as the California roll at Kona is not the same as a California roll pretty much anywhere else.

On my last trip I went to Kona because I couldn't get reservations to Ohana. I was so happy I made this choice. The food and service was beyond what I expected. Best mashed potatoes I've ever had in my life. So good I will be visiting Kona and Ohana my next trip

For sushi, the deep fried crab Rangoon roll is the one thing that we will go for more than once a trip! Totally AWESOME!

And don't forget the Banana Chocolate Crème Brulee'!

You usually can choose a sushi roll for your entree if you like. That is how it works at all the other restaurants we ate Sushi at WDW. We usually don't choose the sushi as an entree though if we want it we just pay extra and use it as an appetizer that we pay for. And pick a different entree to use our dining plan.

The sleeper restaurants in the MK Area - Kona, Grand Floridian Cafe, The Wave, are all decent.and have great food, and pretty much keep the theme of the resort.

We had dinner at Kona last August. Very good food but mediocre service. Could have just been our waitress.

Poly is beautiful. We were staying there for that trip. The dole whip is a great suggestion

Loved the Lapu Lapu. Kona was awesome. We both had steak and it was so good. Our reservation was about 7:30 and when done we went down to the beach and watched the electric light parade and then Wishes. Wonderful place to dine. I highly recommend it.
