We stayed at the Polynesian August 2009, eat breakfast there every morning as DS loved the Tonga Toast and Big Kahuna breakfast platter.

Kona is a great place to eat. We have had breakfast and lunch. The breakfast (in our opinion) is the best at WDW. Try the macadamia pineapple pancakes. Lunch has many options, my favorite is the pork tacos. The meat is in a home-made taco shell. Try the home-made potato and sweet potato chip side. Yum!

I love the Kona - we usually eat dinner there.. they have great desserts also - went on my birthday once just for dessert and they made a really nice plate with Happy Birthday written in chocolate..it was wonderful!
