KK's Test Track Update

Hey All,
Being a Test Track Technician and all, we have some exciting new things going on...

The crash car has been replaced. If you all remember, it was a red chevy or a red GM vehicle. It is currently a white SUV. The front of it is crashed in, and is left exactly the way the red one was. Dont exactly know if they will get it to work, but hopefully they will cause I've never really experienced the crash car actually crash, lol.

The seatbelts of our cars are changing. They are changing them to the design of the ToT seatbelts. Once you buckle your belt, you can not unbuckle them until you get back to the station.

One of our cars are equipped with a new sound safety spiel.

The Briefing Room doors that exit into the station have new safety spiels overhead as well.

Lastly, do catch the Fuel Cell presentation at the end of Test Track in front of Dreamchasers. Its a pretty cool concept that will hopefully get to the general public in the near future.

Dont forget to come and visit! LoL

A friend of mine quoted this about me, "(you'll have to pass three stop lights, on the fourth signal you are going to make a right hand turn. It would be best if you just stayed in the right hand lane, although I know how you darn New Yorkers drive and have that darn surge of testosterone as you weave across the highway...whaever.) My friend said that about my driving. dont be like me when you are on the road P.

It looked to me like the new vehicle has actually been involved in some kind of collision. The damage to it looks much more realistic than the old red one. Maybe they just decided that since the effect is too difficult to run and there's just going to be a static vehicle sitting there, it might as well be one that looks as real as possible.

Those new seatbelts are all and good. I know for a fact they will never come unlatched. When we were there in August TT was experiencing some minor Technical Difficulties. Okay they must have been kind of major since the break tests weren't working and the such. And then we sat inside waiting for like an hour with all the lights on. It was neat but boy even I was ready to get out of my seatbelt. But those things don't budge an inch.

Kenan, I would have popped over and said HELLO but you were dealing with some disgruntled guests who weren't happy about having their TT experience ruined.

See ya

Is that an over-exaggeration I see? lol...we would never do that...leave you in the car for an hour. lol.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Which kind of means, if you can't touch something, you won't move. That's why I've never done it. Too scared I wouldn't be able to move!

Do they have the GTO on display yet? Thats the one I'm waiting for. I was not impressed with the dreamchasers display at all. They should have brought back the robot and the bird from WoM.

Seriously, Id sugest going to ride small world, with Barney as he sings "Its a small world"....

Youd have a more enjoyable time than on that crapchasers "attraction"

You have to wait up to 30 mins sometimes before you can get on that hunk of junk.

I would rather jump off the ToT with a possibility of my parachute/bungee cord, malfunctioning and me falling into a pit of Nile Crocs.....or better yet, a pit full of clones of that insurance guy from the Ditec commericals.

haha, thanks! I don't think I'll get to do the dreamchasers. Since I'm shorter than 5'2
