Things in Brazil are ok... It was even COLD last week!!! 15º celsius!!! (what is that in farenheit?) My baby is so cute! She is learning how to walk now. Her 1st birthday wil be in September. Thanks!!! My baby is almost 11 months old now, she is almost walking!!! The dates for school year are: classes begin in March (end of summer) and there's a school break in July (last two weeks) and go until the end of november. Holidays from the end of november until mid-end february. That's summer here. The July holidays are just a break, as it's winter and there is nothing special in winter... (unlike you guys that have christmas a nd new year's). Living in Brazil is ok... I am not a very good person to answer this question. I guess I am already known here for my lack of nationalism. I am known in my family as "the one who hates being Brazilian"... It's too disorganized, many times violent, many people are impolite... It's beautiful, I agree, but... I'd rather live in Florida! :) But for tourists, Rio de Janeiro is just great!!! You should come down here one day. During Carnival. It's really fun, hot, nice beaches, beautiful and happy people in spite of all the problems...

So, are you still thinking about moving to Florida Tati?
Yeah, I can't stop thinking about it!!! I feel better now, but I got seriously depressed the last time I had to come back from Orlando... The problems are: convincing my husband; saving money; getting visas.

15 degrees Celcius would be around 58 degrees Farenheit or thereabouts. I know I'm within a couple of degrees.

That would be 59oF (goto google and type in "15 celsius in fahrenheit" and it'll work it out for you)

Wow, we're averaging about 21oC here. I can't believe we're hotter than Brazil. Crazy.

Where are you? If you are in the USA, it's summer there. Here it's winter. The coldest winter we've had for 20 years. :lookaroun I was happy when the temperature went down. I couldn't stand the heat anymore...

In the UK. It is Summer here (if the sun can ever be bothered to come out from behind the clouds). I forgot about that whole swapping round of seasons thing in the southern hemisphere :hammer: :hammer:

I take it, it never gets cold enough for Frost or Snow?

I have never seen snow in my whole life! It happens in the extreme South, but it is very very rare. This month, it snowed in the southern states (but a very light snow, almost nothing...) and it was the sensation of the year!!! They showed it on TV and newspapers, people waited on the streets (the weather forecast said: "possibility of snow"...) to see it... But the coldest we can get here in Rio is 14º celsius. When I went to London I almost died, it was simply freezing! I went there in Jan 2000, but I didn't see snow... Even so, I cried when they asked me to get off the bus before going into the ferry boat to France (customs...). I usually freeze in WDW in December!

I hate the school years here because I always ended up in outside schools and in the winter, thats hell. Winters in Disney are fun but I can only go in the summer because of school, and well now because of college. I've always wanted to go visit Brazil. I like to travel so I would like to go all over the world! but I agree with you, I'd rather live in Florida too! closer to disney. I'm known as the one who loves to be different sorta like Kat off of 10 things I hate about you, i dunno if you've ever seen the movie but thats me! lol sister likes to party and be wild and I'm more laid back and like to be a kid at disney!
