I got my reviewable copy yesterday in the mail. Of course I had to practically sell my soul away in non-disclosure agreements to get it, but so far I am really enjoying it.
Right now I'm just getting to the end of Wonderland.

They toys are set to be released before the end of the year, possibly in mid-October.
The sets will come in six sets of two packs:
Sora/Jack Skellington
Riku/ Malificent
Kairi/ Captain Hook
Goofy/ Heartless Air Soldier
Donald/ Guardian Armor
Pluto/ Darkside
The toys are being made by Mirage/N2 Toys.

For those interested... I do know that Innoventions at DL has 8 PS2's set up with Kingdom Hearts and I'm still trying to get some sort of confirmation that they have it at Epcot too...
But I have been scrambling to find a store that will actually have it on the 17th... a few places by me are either clueless or are not receiving it until later in the week (UGH!!!!!!). But I cannot wait for this game to come out. And a week later I get hit with another big release for the PS2... Robotech.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot... I've been writing up a bit of a review/preview for this game on another site (ok, you got me... it's for my own site... sue me) and I've only covered up to Olympus Coliseum... this game is huge!!!!
And I have one last thing... for StarscreamLSU... how in the heck did you get that copy? I've been pushing SquareSoft for press material for months and have been coming up empty handed... and here you are talking about an advance copy. Definitely not fair

My editor is good friends with the PR people there and based on the numerous Kingdom Hearts stories I've done I was 'fast-tracked' on the game.
I got every press release about the game and was invited to the KH release party on Aug 23 (couldn't go due to prior engagments). Last week I was sent a Non-disclosure Agreement which I had to sign in order to get a copy of the game. Anyway, my editor called the other day with a big packet containing the game, a complete walkthrough (which I have no plans on looking at), and some press material.

nice site... liked the bits from E3... I had to laugh at the number of various Disney comments evne towards games not even remotely close to be similar to Disney (Mark of Kri... lol... a fun game to let out the frustations and agreesions from work/school, the only reaon I bought this hack & sneak & slash/snap/stab).
Guess I need to start hobnobbing at some of these events now... sheesh...

FYI for those who are interested... KH was given a review in this week's Extended Play on TechTV. 4 out of 5... the issues were the cameras and the Gummi Ship, pretty much what everyone else (as well as me) seems to have had issues with.
