Kingdom hearts... need advice please...

I'm trying to get a PS2 game for my 11 year old nephew. His parents are super touchy about games he plays so I'm sort of stuck for suggestions...

I've heard about Kingdom hearts... what do you think and is it violent in an overly violent way (I know... Disney...)

It's just that he's in that inbetween kind of hard to shop for age and I want to get him something he might like.

DS11 plays KH and KH-2. There is a lot of hacking at "heartless" [the bad guys], but no bloodshed at all. When an enemy is defeated they burst into stuff that can be collected by the player. It is a Disney game, the principle character is assisted along the way by Donald and Goofy and can gain magic to summon other characters from various Disney stories.

I'd say it's age appropriate. I'm comfortable with my son playing, so long as I'm with him.

Best game you could possibly get for such a child. I highly recommend it.

Great game with a lot of substence, a good message and loads of fun. I wouldn't feel any misgivings letting a kid that age play it.

i have all 3 games and i recommend Kingdom Hearts so high it is the best game i have.

i am 13... well, if his parents are touching....hmm...i dont know...alot of my friends dont like it because they think its "too violent" but there isnt any blood at all (bieleve me...i beat it)

I got him the Cars PS2 game for Xmas and will probably wait until his next bday for the other games....

If he has an Xbox 360 he can buy Sonic the Hedgehog. No cursing, revealing clothes etc. in that game. I highly recomend it.
