King Kong ride for Universal Studios Hollywood Coming!

This can be found on the main forums but just wanted to repost here for everybody who hasn't heard. In the upcoming years not only is Universal Studios Hollywood rumoured to receive a Transormers attraction but a King Kong one as well. The attraction will be mostly based off of Peter Jackson's King Kong and will be in 3D. Not much is known other than what Universal announced.

Universal Hollywood *had* a King Kong ride, as part of the Backlot Tour. And then it burned down.

i miss the uo king kong ride...will be interesting to see how these latest attractions turn out...

The King Kong attraction will actually be part of the Studio Tour, just like the part that burned down. It's supposed to be a Kong/T-Rex battle in 4D.

So as of now, USH is getting:

2009: Creature From the Black Lagoon Musical
2010: King Kong 4-D Added To Studio Tour
2011: Transformers Ride
