Hey Everyone!
I was really wanting to know if Killimanjaro Safari is wheelchair accessible? Also is the ride a rough and jarring one? I'd like to ride this when I get to WDW!

Thank's for any help!!! :)

Kilmanjaro Safaris is indeed wheelchair accessable!

As far as how jarring it is, it depends on the driver. I;ve been on a few rough ones and a few calm ones. Nothing back-breaking, though!:)

My dad is handicapped and always goes on the ride in his wheelchair. He never seems to mind it. I'm sure it gets really bumpy just as it does for the rest of us, but he never complains!!!

Yes, it's handicap accessible and if you haven't been...it's really TRULY breathtaking if you catch it at the right time...

The last time I was on it I saw a cheetah perched up on this rock just looking at us and (I wish I had a camera that time) it was like something out of a National Geographic! A++ to WDI on this attraction!

You get a little thrown about. Not sure, but they may have clamps to hold the chair down on the floor of the truck. If not then you may get a bit of a double wammy!

But yes, unless you disability is to do with an injury in your spine that could be agrivated, I would suggest you give it a go.

The safari is bumpy (especially if you get a GREAT driver) heh...but does anyone know why the bridge doesn't shake and shudder anymore? I was so disappointed when they removed that portion of the ride.

Thread drift alert!

Cuteypatooty, I noticed your signature... Has any of you heard of a song by Big Tent Revival called "What would Jesus do?" That one is my favorite one!
"what would Jesus do, walking in my shoes, working at my job, going to my school... I hear people say Jesus is the way, I believe, that is why I´m asking you: what would Jesus do?" :animwink:
