Kilimanjaro Safari Times Question

Does anybody know what the typical operating times are? We've always ridden in the morning hours but I would like to do late time this trip. We will be there in the next 2 weeks and I believe the day we are going the park closes at 8:00. I'm sure the times guide will have it but I was just curious how late they will run the jeeps. Thanks.

With 8 pm close, the safari will close around 5 to 5:30.

This is not correct in the summer. This June for example, Safari closes at 7:30 on nights that the park is open until 8. It closes at 7 pm on nights that the park is open until 7.

Last June, we boarded a truck at about 6:50 on a 7 pm closing night. We actually had to wait 10 minutes for enough guests to arrive to fill the vehicle. We ended up being on the last ride of the night.

That was pre-construction though. Last I heard Safari would be closing earlier than in previous summers due to the construction taking place in the area.

You can go to the Disney website and click on Parks, DAK, Attractions to see the scheduled operating hours for each ride on any specific date.
