Kilimanjaro safari closed

Anyone know how long the safaris may be closed down? Trying to decide what and if I need to change that FastPass. Thanks!

We have a fast pass for 9/18 and did not receive an email that our fast pass was cancelled. We did get the one for Jungle Cruise on the 16th. I read somewhere that the water rides are scheduled to open on the 18th so maybe that includes the Safari. Sure hope so!!

MDE shows a wait time for the Safari this morning, so I'm guessing it's open as the other closed rides don't appear (JC), or like KRR show as temporarily closed.

Thank you for the update! My godson is really looking forward to it, so I'm glad he won't be missing out.
