Kids watching fireworks at Top of the World lounge?

Hi all- my husband and I are DVC members who are bringing our niece and nephew to stay at Bay Lake Tower next week (we don't have kids yet). I'm curious, I know that as DVC members we have access to Top of the World Lounge, I'm wondering if it's appropriate to bring the kids (7 & 10) up to watch the fireworks (not to stay, just to watch the fireworks and head back downstairs)?

Either way is fine, I just thought since Disney is doing July 4th fireworks on the 3rd as well, it would be a great capper to our trip (it's their first time visiting America from Ireland)!

Totally fine to bring them up there to watch. It will be quite crowded because of the holiday, but still appropriate to bring them up there. How exciting for them to be here for the first time!!

Thank you for your responses! I know that they've never have seen anything like Disney fireworks and I am so excited to see the looks on their faces next week!

Yes no issues we were told be advised arrive early as it will fill up for the fireworks on 7/4. On 7/3 it will fill up as well also be advised that the Independence Day Dessert Party is also going on for 7/3 over @ Convention Center Porte-Cochere at Disney's Contemporary Resort so it will be extra busy that night from 8PM -10PM the event is SOLD OUT as well.

Gotcha- it's our last night, so we'll plan to be up there early (husband, sister-in-law, and I will be happy to chill with cocktails)!

No problem bringing kids up there at all. The best viewing location is on the outdoor patio up there anyway so you aren't even in the bar. Not that bringing kids into the indoor lounge area would be a problem either. Definitely family friendly. It's a great view. Enjoy.

Thanks again for all of your help! We went with the kids on July 3- there were thunderstorms so the fireworks didn't start until late, but the kids were totally fine even though we were in the lounge most of the time due to the weather. A great place to watch the fireworks!

Another great reason to try to get up to the lounge with young kids - the glass acts as a good sound buffer. If your little ones get scared when they hear the booms, that makes a big difference.
