We have a daughter who will be two years old in June and she currently measures right around 34 inches tall. We have not yet decided for sure whether to take her with us in April, or to leave her home with the grandparents like we did last year. When we took her to Six Flags last year, for some reason, their rule on the rides was that children could not sit on the parents' lap during the ride. They had to sit in their own space on the seat. We're still not sure why, as we tend to think it would be safer for the child to sit on his parent's lap vs sitting on his own, but whatever. My question is, does Disney have that same rule, or is the parent allowed to hold the child on his lap?
It really doesn't matter one way or the other for rides such as Small World, Pirates of the Carribbean, etc. But I guess the specific ride I'm thinking of is the TommorrowLand Speedway. Last year, we left her at home with the grandparents and just took our son, who will be 5 in May. The three of us were just able to sit side by side and I know we wouldn't be able to fit another (no matter how small). But would one of us be allowed to hold her, or would we just have to drive two cars?
