Are there any bars/lounges (besides Edison) that you can NOT bring your child into? Lol, and by child, I mean 19 year old. So I'm not really asking about kid appropriate, I'm asking if any actually turn away a person who is younger than 21. Thanks

So we went to Jellyrolls and they were most definitely carding at the door. so I'm assuming that anyone under 21 was turned away.
And at Raglan road at the Bar they were asking for ID but I think young adults could definitely hang out.

I agree with @Weather_Lady, I have seen kids of all ages at the bars and lounges throughout the WDW properties.

The 21 and over places on WDW property are Jellyrolls, Atlantic Dance Hall, and Trader Sam's Grog Grotto (after 8 p.m.).

LOL @eliza61nyc ..... all bars ask to see I.D. if ordering alcoholic drinks not just Raglan Road

Are all of the new Disney Springs restaurants available to all ages at any time of day?

Yes....as far as I know and have seen as of October 2017. When we were there at that time, yes there were kids of all ages at all the bars we walked by and/or stopped inside of.

There may be a problem with them sitting AT the bar. Technically they are not supposed to sit AT the bar. They can be in the bar, but not sitting at the bar.

This seems to be sporadically enforced with no rhyme or reason. Other than that, there are only a few places that are strictly over 21 - such as Jellyrolls.

I did not know that. Thanks
Personally, I prefer a table or booth anyway, so I'm fine with that.

Not intending to shoot the messenger here, but kids sitting at a bar. . . like we should need statutes to tell us this isn't really great parenting.

Here is a situation. Waiting for a table at Cali Grill, nobody else in the lounge. I order a drink, my daughter (maybe 12 at the time) gets a Shirley Temple. We sat at the bar because we were talking to the bartender. We were told she could not sit there, we had to sit at a table.

It's a seat, it's no different from any other seat in the bar. We are not talking about kids sitting at a bar alone, unsupervised, but if you walk into a WDW lounge with your 19 year old and there are no tables open, and you and your 19 year old want to sit at the bar, order some wings, and both have a soda, you may be told sorry, no.

It is kinda understood that to sit AT the bar you have to be over 21 no-matter-what. Division of Alcoholic Beverage and Tobacco rules. Just like no one under 21 is allowed to sit a slot machine or gaming table in Las Vegas or any other gaming city. I understand that your daughter was drinking a Shirley Temple but that is the rules.

Those are certainly not the rules in many states in the US. There is no law against minors sitting at bars in the majority of states. Many places do not allow by their own house rules, some counties/districts within states have laws, but in many states it is not a law. I have certainly been in establishments that say it is against the law, but that is their way of getting out of saying they made the decision. In Florida, there is no law as such: https://www.servsafe.com/downloads/pdfs/ssa-key-laws/florida

Again, many establishments have those rules, but they are making that decision on their own.

Here's a more useful pdf out of Florida I think:

I was merely referring to the fact that people have stated that people under 21 'can't' sit at a bar. In most states (including Florida), they legally can sit at the bar, but many establishments forbid it. I cited the FL fact sheet.

The pdf you cited is very useful for a discussion of the dangers of underage drinking which is certainly not something I plan to get into (live it every day of 24 years teaching in public high schools).
