Kids cooking in Epcot

My mom brought up that she thought there was somewhere in Epcot where you could sign up/pay for kids to do a little cooking lesson thing.

Does anyone know where this is or if they even still do it? She wanted to sign my niece up if they do.

They used to let kids bakeToll House cookies in the lower part of The Land, in the section over to the left of the Sunshine Seasons Food Fair (as you are facing it). Maybe that's what she was thinking of.

However that has been gone for a number of years now.

Some kind of Kids cooking is still advertised on the in room tv as of August 28th but i cant remember them saying where in wdw it was held??

A quick Google search turned up Grand Adventures in Cooking at the Grand Floridian, but that was discontinued end of fiscal year 2008. The Land had a small cookie making place, but that's been gone for awhile. Disney Institute is no longer around, so that's out too. My guess? Possibly something special for the Food & Wine, but I don't think that'd be held in The Land (instead old WoL or somewhere in WS.)

I remember something from 2008 (at Epcot I believe) where, for a fee (I believe $35) your kids could go and make dessert type snacks and then take them out to the park for sampling. I was telling someone else about it a few weeks ago, but when I went to find the information it wasn't there anymore.

In the Walt Disney World, sometime back there used to be a place where kids could really learn some cooking lessons. They could try out their dishes there. It was a fun place for the kids. It might be taken out many years back. But still moms are enquiring about them just because inside Disney World, the ads for these kids cooking have been shown until recently. The name of the place used to be “The Land”. It has been removed totally so getting even the information about it has become difficult.
