"Kiddie parks"

My wife and I are getting older now and all our children have grown.

My wife and I still go to Disney World every year and would never catagorize it as a "Kiddie Park".

We don't spend much time in Mickys Toontown Fair anymore although we do stick our heads in there once in a while to see what's new.

With several professional Golf Courses(6 to be exact), Fishing, Boating(Which includes Parasailing, Pedal Boats, Pontoon Boats, Sail Boats, Canoeing, Canopy Boats, and Speedboats) Swimming, Horseback riding, Disneys Spa and Health Clubs, Disneys Wide World of Sports Complex W/ The Richard Petty Driving experiance, One could could hardly call Disney World a "Kiddie Park"

The tons of great dining experiances and EPCOTS World showcase make for some fun shopping and great eating adventures that one can do with or without kids.

Downtown Disney and Pleasure Islands are another example of the adult venues and features that Disney offers to Adult vacationers.

These are just a few examples of the many things that aren't "Kiddie" related that Disney has to offer.

So the next time someone tells you that Disney World is a "Kiddie Park" Just smile at them and think of all the fun you are going to have on your next Trip to Disney World...and then think of all the fun THEY are going to have looking down at the Grand Canyon and then saying "OK..we've seen it...Let's go home now."

Disney = Kids.

The films, toys and associated merchandise are marketed towards children. However, the theme parks are a family orientated environment.
OK so young kids cannot go by themselves, but the attractions appeal to all age groups.

Therefore, to those who argue that Disney is for kiddies - I would politely ask them to keep their ignorant opinions to themselves

some people have no imagination any more. I sister in law is like that, she went down over a year ago in decembed, right after she broke up with her boyfriend and there was alot of things going on for her. she didn't like the crowds, the people were rude, too much shopping, she was expecting it to be an all inclusive resort, which it is, but she felt it was too turisty and said "I grew out of most of that stuff years ago". that made me mad. you don't just grow out of stuff, it grows with you. why is it when we grow up somepeople loose the whole concept of fun and somepeople don't know how to have fun unless they have a beer in their hand. I just don't get people like that.
