My wife and I are getting older now and all our children have grown.
My wife and I still go to Disney World every year and would never catagorize it as a "Kiddie Park".
We don't spend much time in Mickys Toontown Fair anymore although we do stick our heads in there once in a while to see what's new.
With several professional Golf Courses(6 to be exact), Fishing, Boating(Which includes Parasailing, Pedal Boats, Pontoon Boats, Sail Boats, Canoeing, Canopy Boats, and Speedboats) Swimming, Horseback riding, Disneys Spa and Health Clubs, Disneys Wide World of Sports Complex W/ The Richard Petty Driving experiance, One could could hardly call Disney World a "Kiddie Park"
The tons of great dining experiances and EPCOTS World showcase make for some fun shopping and great eating adventures that one can do with or without kids.
Downtown Disney and Pleasure Islands are another example of the adult venues and features that Disney offers to Adult vacationers.
These are just a few examples of the many things that aren't "Kiddie" related that Disney has to offer.
So the next time someone tells you that Disney World is a "Kiddie Park" Just smile at them and think of all the fun you are going to have on your next Trip to Disney World...and then think of all the fun THEY are going to have looking down at the Grand Canyon and then saying "OK..we've seen it...Let's go home now."
