I am just glad and happy to see that the end of the street has the icon that most of us know the studios by...intended or not, that's what most remember as the icon of the studios. Most of the park icon are front and center when you walk in and that's what you remember. If the Earful tower is the icon, then they should have placed it in place of the theatre in the beginning, but to do that now would just seem ODD!
I say give the theatre a little much deserved TLC inside and out and it will be the best it has been in a while!

You do realize you said the four letter word (starting with an "i") that sparked so much debate in the BAH thread 4 times. If that debate comes here, I blame you. ;)

Maybe we should just agree that this park is a "NO Icon ZONE" perhaps we should follow a protocol that has some sort of "icon agnosticism" where we think there might be an "icon" but we're not sure if it really exists...for that matter we aren't sure which one is the right one...so...yes...we might believe in a higher icon...but we're not sure of any of it...so, we're non-committal about the whole business...

Or if you like...we can go fer a sort of "icon atheism" where we basically say there is no icon...we don't belive in it...

At least where this park is concerned...

Someone asks you "what's the icon"...you say..."what the heck is an icon"? Or "We don't believe in such superstitious hooey!"

Blasphemous I know... ;)

Let's just agree that the view of the Chinese Theatre is what you should see upon entering DHS (DHA? DHl?). Debate about the park icon, if any, should be elsewhere.
