keys to the kingom

Just a quick question... how far in advance do you need to book this?
I just called 407-wdwtour and asked when I could book it; she said (still more than 6 months out today) I could already book.

Do these fill up fast? When do I need to book by to be safe? Or is it silly to worry.

Thanks!

Wouldn't hurt to go ahead and book it... I think you can cancel without penalty up to 24 hours prior (but verify that with the agemt).

I think it depends on the time of year you go and the popularity of the tour. We booked our Keys to the Kingdom tour about 3 or 4 weeks before we got there, but that was for a September trip.
I booked a Segway tour for April just last week and had my pick of times. Hope that helps.

I booked ours for May back in January. I noted in my planning notebook that the cancellation notice is minimum of 48 hours. I try to always note things that I've given a credit card number to guarantee. :)

I don't know when you should book it but I will say that I highly recommend this tour. You learn a lot of things that you probably didn't know before.

thanks for the answers guys.
I didn't realize that you could cancel; I thought it was paid for up front.
I figured I should probably book somewhat early, but I haven't planned everything 100% yet.

And I just realized I titled this keys to the "kingom" :hammer: oops

I forget whether the tour is prepaid or not. Seems like they get the authorization from the credit card at the time of booking then push the charges thru the day of the tour. I think that's how it went with the Segway tour we did in December. That way you can show your AP or Disney Visa to get your discount applied. If you're a no-show they will charge your card, too. Even with CRT which is a prepaid event/meal if you cancel within the proper amount of time they will just credit the amount back to you. I've done that before, too. :)

Yes you prepay for it. You pay when you book it but as long as you cancel prior to 48 hours before your scheduled tour you get your money back. I actually already booked this tour for our trip in December. I booked it back in January. I like to book my tours as soon as they become available because you never know when a tour may fill up.
