In my opinion, it was better before they changed it.
Sure, now they include lunch, but they only take you about 35 feet into the utillidors. Two years ago, we toured the entire costume department (walking right down the middle of the rows of costumes), the wig shop, saw the character zoo and the CM cafeteria, and got to see the main entrance back under the Village Haus. Now all that stuff is just in a display box backstage on Main Street, and you are just told about it. Very disappointing.

Have to agree with you Lee. My husband and I did Keys to the Kingdom this past May for the first time. I want to say it was $47 per person and it was a 5 hour tour that included lunch. We booked the tour based on a friend's recommendation and were slightly disappointed not to see the costuming department, cafetria, etc. Rather, we saw a display case above Main Street. Do you think perhaps that they stopped that part of the tour for safety/security reasons after Sept 11th?

Regardless, we still loved the tour and our guide Robin was informative and so sweet. I would highly recommend it as it is time well spent!:)

Do you get some sort of special keys to the kingdom pin? Because I have this key-shaped pin that says keys to the kingdom and I dont know why.

Don't know about that tour, but some of the other tours like Backstage Safari, you do get a special pin.

Yes that is the pin you get for taking the Keys to the Kingdom tour. I know that we had to promise not to put the pin up for auction on e-bay.
