Kayaking?

Hi Lynn, There are some kayak spots at some of the resorts, but depending on the length of your trip, your focus for your vacation and where you are staying ( would you need to go through a lot to get to the kayak locations?) I dont know if I would bother. There is so much to see and do already at Disney without building in any of the recreation activities that are available as well. Im sure you will have a great time, regardless of whatever you choose to do!! Marie

Thanks, WannabeBelle! We are actually go to DisneyWorld very often and I thought this might be something new to do. Our next trip is with all our children and grandchildren and is only for four nights....so I wondered if the kayaking itself was in a pretty area or if
is it just a workout...lol???

I know there are canoes at Fort Wilderness campground and I also believe that there are Kayaks there too. You would go to the campground and then to the boat rentals at the marina. The easiest way to do this would be to take the launch from MK and it takes you right to the marina where the boat rental office is. I believe that the canoes and kayaks are located at the Meadows Trading post in the center of the resort for use in the canals. I would look up the number for the boat rentals for Fort Wilderness and give them a call and they can fill you in.
