Kali River Rapids refurb extended?

I know not everyone will care about this too much if they're not planning a trip to AK soon, but I wanted to let folks know that I went to get my FP+ for AK on 2/27 this morning, and Kali River Rapids was unavailable as a selection. I know there's an announced refurb from early January through 2/13. Has anyone heard about an extension to this?

No no no, they are just extending the "refurb" to save a few bucks over the chilly months. Gotta make that report look spick and span!!!

sadly i wouldn't doubt it. granted i am sure extra stuff will get done too but yeah i wouldn't be surprised if it was budget driven.

Where did you see 3/17? I looked at Disney's website, and it still lists mid-February. I then Googled the refurb, and I did see 3/17 come up, but it was last year -- 3/17/16.
