Kali River or Bilge Rat Barge???

With a name like KaliSplash what do you think I'd pick?

Kali's only problem is it's short.

I've never ridden the Universal ride but have read many rave reviews.

bilge rat is better in most ways-length, wetness, less lines. but kali sneaks in as the better ride overall because it is at ak, its' theme is better, and best of all is the big drop that bilge rat barges doesn't have.

I think Kali has a better themeing and qeue, but Bilge Rat Barges has a more fun ride I think. All Kali has is that big drop, and that's it. Sometimes, you won't get the least bit wet on Kali if you sit in one place. So, considering that, I think Bilge rat barges takes all.

comparing Ripsaw to Splash Mtn. is a waste of time, but I think Ripsaw wins for the thrill element. overall, Splash Mtn. is the best log flume ride there is. but Bilge Rat beats Kali hands down. I love Kali's queue, however.

Ogryn, I'm sorry, but which ride is the picture from? Grizzly or the European one, or what?

The European one.... let me try and find its name again :)

Popeye & Blutos covers the area in red, and travels in the direction of the arrows (as far as I can tell)

I can't find a good satellite of AK to compare with it though :(

The picture I posted earlier was from "Bobby Drop" @ Bobbejaanland, Belgium

The one with the straight drops is "River Quest" @ Phantasia Land, Germany

Toss me into the BRB camp. That ride blows away KRR imo. Better theming, length, wetness, that mid course indoor area, the lift, and then the drop afterwards. No contest :)

Plus you can pay to shoot nice jets of stream at people, or take the freebie dribblers up on the boat in the kids play area. Not sure if KRR has something similar to that.

Oh those water guns on BRB. Those aren't nice.
Interesting that the vast majority who responded liked BRB better than KRR and no one bashed them for not voting Disney. :lookaroun My only comment on the queue theming is, I don't go on rides for the queue theming. Frankly, the less time in line the better. So regardless of the queue, I can only judge a ride on the ride itself. Just my opinion... :D
As for Ripsaw and Splash, no question Splash offers much better theming and over all ride experience. Although, I do like the drop better on Ripsaw, the rest of the ride is virtually nonexsiting. Really boring. :snore:
