So, I was there in 63 degree weather, and in 90 degree weather. In the 90 degree weather, I was drenched. In 60 degrees, not so much. Wet, yes, but not drenched.

Here, as with Splash Mountain, my understanding is there are certain water features that can be turned up, down, aimed away, or turned off, depending on the weather.

At least that's what I was told. And not by a bus driver. But I don't remember who.

In any event, I've been on it when no one got all that wet in the cold, so take that for what it's worth.

Much like Splash Mountain there is no way to control how wet you'd get when going down drops, I've known people who have gone on Splash on a day when all the effects are turned off and they still come off soaked.

At the ride they have at California Adventure which is pretty much Kali, they have the ability to turn down the flow of water on colder days, but I don't know if they have that at AK.

I've certainly gotten drenched before in cold weather. Whether or not you get wet on Kali is very much like playing Russian roulette.

we went on the kali just before it decided to rain for the ENTIRE day.

not so much fun when you can't get dry. :(

I was REALLY excited for this ride, and prepared well for it.. we rented a locker, had change of clothes, and made sure my camera was no where near the ride. I hadn't been on the ride in 11 years... pumped, excited

end of ride, woman next to me is DRENCHED... I don't have a single drop of water on me, and I mean not a drop, shorts and shirt were as dry when I stepped on the ride.

I had a similay experiance on a trip during a heat wave around july 4th several years ago. I waited in the line over an hour to get wet when the heat index was over 100. When on the ride i did not get a drop. On my way off the ride a cast member overheard me complaining, all be it in a joking manor. SHe ran over and spraded me down with the hose. Lots of fun.
