Glitter attack!

By the way, for those of you brave enough to put the gold ears on (haha unlike me), does the glitter come off in the rain???

The glitter comes off on everthing. Rain or shine. It's the nature of glitter. You get it all over your hands when you put the tenna topper on, you find it on your face next time you look in the mirror, it gives a nice metallic sheen to parts of your car. So far, though, the gold tenna topper still seems to be well coated. I guess it's more magic! Think of it as pixie dust!!!

My antenna retracts when I shut the car off, so I can't have one on my car, but I do have a WDWCP one that I got for answering trivia when I went to the presentation at college ~1 1/2 ago.

Wife has a stars and stripes mickey head on her truck, daughter has a graduation cap head on her car. Alas, my car is sans antenna so I can't sport a mickey head. I do however have a Jiminy Cricket lanyard that I wear at work everyday. Does that count? :lol:

I own every single one!! Right now the Golden-Eared one is on..Along with my 'flying goofy' (it looks like he is trying to hang on to the antennea)), and my mickey license plate holder and my Disney vanity plate (DSNY4US) :drevil: Yup, I have it bad!! :lol:

I used to have the pink "Princess" Mickey head with a crown...but some meanie stole it. So I picked up the gold ears edition at WDW last week. I'm so paranoid for it, though, I probably should have bought an extra just in case. I check every time I get in or out of my car to make sure it's still there, since it's not like I can find the same one at the local Disney store.

One of my friends had the rainbow Mickey on her car, but one of his ears came off the other day!

Darn! And I almost forgot I used to have the Princess "Looking For My Prince" license plate holder, but it got broken. I didn't see the "Been There Done That" ones last week, or else I would have bought one.

I, too, have quite a collection that I rotate around. Currently, I have the Golden Ears, and my husband has the Canadian flag. Previously, I had the castle, which lasted a whole year, and I never saw another one in all of Austin the entire year. We also have between us a Been there Done that, a My other car is a doom buggy, a Kilomanjari Safaris window sticker and a Jedi Knight Training School window sticker.

I have a head on ours, right now it is the "Golden Ears' edition from the Happiest Celebration on Earth. Also keep a spear in the glove box so when it gets stolen (which they always do) I have a replacement ready.

Some advice to keep your mickey from being stolen is to use a super glue inside the little hole that goes on the antenna. Usually harder to rip off if it's good and stuck.

I have the Princess antenna topper and the HCOE topper. The HCOE one, I keep in my bedroom though. That is one I won't risk getting stolen. I don't mind the Princess one getting stolen too much though. I have extra ones plus I can always get a new one at Character Warehouse.
