Hey, hey, I just switched from Pop to CBR, I have never been there before, but I know it's one of the largest resorts on property. I have a 4 yo, and I requested a room in the Trinidad South building. How long of a walk is it to the main building? I have looked over the map, but I wanted some of my WDWMAGIC fam info.. Thank you all in advance

Just looked over the menus there, they seem ok.... Man, I don't know what to do...stay at CBR, or switch to PO... Gonna look over the price difference. I don't like hearing about all these busses and long walks. Not a problem for me, but wife and 4yo... Looks like PO my be a little less $. I don't know  going a lil crazy here..
If you can switch to POR for less $$$ DO IT!!!!!! The food court has something for everyone, hands down one of the best QS food courts on property! POR is our favorite!

If you don't switch to POR you still made a great choice upgrading from Pop:)

I would have stayed at the pop century. The difference in the price isn't that much but you are not in the room that much. Second at pop century you have great bus service straight routs to all parks no extra stops. The food court is also great for kids and family. This is just my opinion, we stayed there the past 6 years and have not been disappointed. Wherever you stay enjoy your trip.

I choose that location because the 2 closer building are preferred and cost like $55 more a night.

We love CBR. But we always request a STANDARD room in the Jamaica or Aruba buildings "near the footbridge" because they are the closest to the main pool and food court. You just walk over the foot bridge in the middle of the resort to get there, and it is a lovely view as you do so. We love the hammocks on the "beach" and the steel drum music.
(Btw, we liked Pop too, but CBR is nicer.)

Thank you, I was wondering about the walk, I requested building 45 in Jamica.. Do the buses run out of the main building as well, or just the different section bus stops?

How do the busses run. Is the main building bus stop separate from the others? Or do all the busses stop at all the islands?

The buses run clockwise around the resort... using two resort entrances... the routes are:

Jamaica, Aruba, Barbados, Martinique, Old Port Royale, Trinidad North, Trinidad South

Or

Martinique, OPR, TN, TS, Jamaica, Aruba, and Barbados.

There is also an 'Internal Bus' that circles the 7 stops constantly.

The 'Custom House' where guests check-in/access Magical Express... has no bus stop. It's an easy walk away from the bus stop in the Barbados Village.

Old Port Royal Centertown (OPR) does have it's own bus stop. This is where you'll find dinning, shops, and access to the main pool. It's one of the 7 stops included for both Park buses and the Internal Shuttle.

Oh... Ok. Is it the first stop for the busses? Meaning they stop there, and then go around the rest of the resort?

CH doesn't have a 'bus stop' per se. You really only go there to check in, after which you get driven by van or golf cart to your room.
The 'main building' everyone is speaking of is Old Port Royale. That's where the food court, gift shop, pool, restaurant, are located. There is a bus stop there.

If you are using Magical Express for return to the airport be sure to arrange bell services the day before your departure so that a van can pick you up at your building otherwise you'll need to haul all your bags to the Custom's House yourself via internal shuttle.

We weren't fans of CBR but love PORS and by no means do I think they compare in bus service. CBR has 7 stops vs 4 at PORS. Busses do fill up and will pass by some stops. It can be frustrating.

One Little Spark...
Does anyone know which buildings the King beds are located in?
Trinidad North 33/31
Martinique 26/23
Barbados 16/14/13
Aruba 54/53/51
Jamaica 44/43/42

Map for reference.
