JUST scored ADR at BOG

We just booked (April 1st) a September trip to celebrate our 30th anniversary and my wifes Bday. Knowing how much in demand meals at BOG are, being that it's new, we called immediately to try and get an ADR. The CM went through ALL the dates we would be on property and every meal time, she even tried past our dates ( why she did this I don't know) and couldn't find a spot. She said keep on checking back, you never know if and when something might open up.
WELLLL... business was slow this morning, so I took a shot, ran into the house and got on line. Clicking through the first 5 days.... nothing. Then... miraculously... entered the 6th day.... Sept 16th and ....there it was.... a dinner reservation was available. Boy did my fingers fly across the keyboard to reserve the spot.
Now, just last night my wife was talking to her mother and she said... "Pick a place you want to eat at and I'll pay for the dinner so you can celebrate." So not only did we get the ADR, but it's going to be paid for! YES... I'm loving the Disney experience.

Congrats!!:) It must have been all the pixie dust we were all sending your way! LOL Happy Anniversary! May it be the best one ever!

Thanks.. I'm SURE thats what did it. Funny thing is, me and the computer don't see eye to eye most of the time. :confused:. My poor wife hears me screaming and yelling at it because I can never get it to do WHAT I WANT. :confused: Some days I say to it... Your lucky I dont throw you through the window. ( Then my wife steps in and calms me down... Thankyou wife:rolleyes:) So when I saw the ADR pop up I thought... oh no you better cooperate with me this one time.:p Surprise.. it did. My wife went on shortly after I did and checked ( not realizing I had just reserved it) and there were again NO ADR's available.

Thankyou.. you have a great time with the kids. Hope you can get the change made. Our reservation is for 6:15, which works out fine for us. Get to enjoy the park earlier, eat, then MK is open til 9pm, leaving time to do more.

not on Dinner menue but it is fun to ask for and we received it free after the waiter paused with a stunned grin when we asked for it. The words are chocolate stamped and not a design on the plate itself. It did not count as our desert with the meal plan.

I finally found one online for our trip in August. The CM on the phone told me she wasnt even allowed to serach for BOG because it is so overbooked. The only problem is the time is 9:00! I will keep on trying.

What the...??? Doesnt sound fair to not even look for you. I wonder how many calls they are handling. Probably everyones first request. Must be giving the Castle dining competition in numbers.

Thats what I was concerned about, we just booked the trip and was already way under the 180 days calling time. Good score for you. Enjoy sharing the table with all the family.
