And I'm already planning my next trip. Minus my husband and children, add my best friend. They loved Disney, but they kind of feel like they've seen it, done it, and want to do other things. Not me! I'm ready to go back. So my best friend who is a long time lover of WDW said she would go with me. We are planning to go towards the end of April, after most schools are back from Spring Break (I hope). What is the weather like this time of year? Is it humid like it was in August? Or will it still be warm but not so humid?

The weather is better. It will be warm, but not as hot or as humid as in August. Youll probably have mid to high 80s. We went at the end of April into the first weeks of May and still encountered crowded conditions. Not as bad as what youd find in August.
Its great to go with another Disney lover. You should get a lot more done since you wont be waiting on the kids, worrying about them and having to entertain them. You and your friend can go at a faster pace, do your own adult entertainment, set your own pace, but you still need to plan well. Have fun. DW and I enjoyed our first trip years ago as adults only, but did miss our DS being with us at times.

Weather wise April is great. Our Spring Break is end of April, as our school district always has Spring Break bump up to Easter. Many other school districts do the same, so expect it to be crowded. We love going for a Spring Break trip because hours tend to be extended, but it does get really crowded.

Yeah, I figured there would still be lots of schools still on Spring Break. However, I know the weeks are spread out across the US so hoping crowds wont be too bad. I am willing to brave the crowds over going in August again...lol. Thanks for the tips. I love 80 degree weather, just not when it's 98% humidity...lol. Thanks everyone!

You’ll be there for Flower & Garden at Epcot! I went last year (2017) April 29-May 2, had beautiful weather, in the 80’s. The F&G topiaries at Epcot are amazing. I can’t remember when Easter was but it wasn’t when I was there, I avoided that.
