We had a FANTASTIC time at the Contemporary Resort in a theme park view room on the 9th floor. Room was great and view was awesome.
We have stayed at the Contemporary before but not in a theme park view room. Highly recommend at least once. We ate at the Contempo Cafe several times and the food was great. We're not ones to make dinner reservations so this worked out good. Bought the refillable cup and got coffee and soft drinks galore.
Besides attending the Marathon, we went to three parks. MK, Epcot & Disney Studios. Very crowded but we planned and made fast passes and all was good. Spent great time with family. Food tip: Have you tried the French Dip Burger at Electric Umbrella at Epcot? OMG it was wonderful, we had to go back for a second one the next day. It's a little pricey @ $19.+ but you get an Angus Burger with Roast Beef, Cheese, & Crunchy Onions in a bun. It also includes fries, sliced apples, drink & a delicious dessert (cheesecake, cupcake or no sugar added brownie). Get one if you get a chance, I can't wait until my next trip to have another.
We took advantage of the Bounce Back offer while we were still registered and booked the Polynesian for July when we will be back to attend a wedding at the Shades of Green. Got a standard view room for 30% off or $331.80. We were very happy!!!
