Just moved to the World...

Hey all,

I've been a loyal WDWMagic fan since my college days - about six or seven years ago. I've never really posted anything, but always loved hearing about other's adventures to the world and reading up on all the news and gossip from halfway across the country.

I told myself that one day I would make the move to Orlando, and I've finally done it. Now that I'm here, I'd love to meet new people who also share the same love for Disney.

I'm not a Cast Member, and I'm not sure if I want to spoil the magic yet. I work remotely for a non-profit, so it gets pretty lonely with me and my laptop. It's also much harder to make friends here without any coworkers.

Anyone want to take a trip to the parks or offer advice on how to meet people here? Thanks.

Hello and congratulations on getting to fulfill your dream of moving to FL. I hope to manage the same someday in the not too distant future.

As for meeting people, I would suggest becoming active here, get to know a few people well, and then possibly start looking towards meeting up in the parks with people. Except for a few resident trolls you will find most people here to be pretty friendly. :wave:
