Just looking for thoughts/experiences at these restaurants

Rose and Crown - I am sort of on the fence witht this one. I have had good and not so good meals here. The menu really does not thrill me. I have eaten enough of that type of food to last me a lifetime. I just find the whole place, food, atmosphere, service, to be very pedistrian. Which, thinking about it, may be what they are shooting for - its a bar after all.

Hacienda or Inn - I could go with either. I have had some great food at both. I actually like the menu at the Inn better (Sopa Azteca - I could eat that multiple times) but the atmosphere in the Hacienda is better.

Ok, this all looks AMAZING! All these pictures and reviews are making me more and more excited for our trip! thanks so much!

You're welcome! :) And after I posted, I realized that I have eaten here since 2012. Oops! :p I actually ate there twice in 2014 and it was still as good I remembered. A couple more pictures from that more recent visit.

La Hacienda entree that serves 2. It was a LOT of food!

Looking at the menu, the two ill be picking from are the New York strip and grilled fish or the pan roasted Scottish salmon. But you're right, its definitely a very basic menu full of "normal" every day foods. Hopefully we're there on one of their good days.

Love Rose and Crown! It is a MUST reservation for each trip. The Shepherds pie is so yummy! I've never eaten at your other two restaurant choices, mostly due to I don't want to leave the parks for dining options and, I'm sorry to be a snob, but the east coast does not know how traditional Mexican food tastes. I might be a " white bread" girl but I live close to Mexico and we have amazing mexican food out here in Cali. Closest I get to consuming anything Mexican in The World is the Margaritas.

In general I agree with you, but since you have yet to try La Hacienda de San Angel you don't have the right to make a comparison between it and the excellent SoCal choices.

I have eaten at La Cantina de San Angel and to be honest I prefer Taco Bell. If that is an indication of how the chefs at the Mexico pavilion decide to cook their so called "Mexican" food than I'll gladly avoid it. However, as my father taught me, I should not pass judgement on something I haven't tried. So please forgive me of offering my thoughts on the OPs request. That is what they were asking for in the first place right? I hope the OP has an amazing time at The World and fabulous dining experiences, I know I always have, with the exception of Morocco. As for you enjoy your tay-coes and tore-til-las and your te-kill-yas!

I actually tend to agree with you - I was not that impressed with the Cantina. But the restaurant that we're talking about is La Hacienda de San Angel, which is an entirely different thing. They do what I would consider really excellent Mexican food, and I've experienced Mexican food from SoCal, from a lot of places across the country, and even from several places in Mexico. That doesn't mean you're gonna like La Hacienda, but I sure do!

We loved Sanaa. Have to agree that the bread service was the best. We will definitely be getting that again when we go back in October. I surprised my husband with a dinner there at 5PM before it got dark. I didn't tell him about the animals outside in case we didn't get a seat by the window. But because we were the first to be seated, we got the best table with a great view. We were mesmerized by the animals outside and the bird that kept looking at his reflection in the glass. The food was fantastic and my husband still raves about what he ordered. He loved it so much that he demanded it again this trip. I should also mention that this was the only restaurant to acknowledge that we were celebrating our anniversary. They gave us a special dessert that said Happy Anniversary and 2 free glasses of champagne! Here are some pics of what was happening outside the window.

Wow! Thats pretty neat! We also have reservations at 5 so hopefully we'll get lucky with a great table too! Although we will have 8 people so they may be limited with where they can sit us...i cannot wait to try their bread service!!!

To guarantee we were first, I actually got there at 4:30 so I could put in my request to sit by the window and then we spent the time waiting in their lounge with a couple of drinks and the bread service. Then at 5, they took us to the table. Honestly, I was so taken with the view and the food that I forgot to look around the restaurant :)
