would someone be able to give me an estimate of how much? Also, is it worth it? 180 day mark is coming up soon so any input would be valued, thanks!

If you can swing the price GO FOR IT! We have been lucky enough to dine here several times and we love it! It is an experience not just food! The food is fantastic and the service is nothing short of amazing. Not one complaint! It is a great night all around!!

I've never left for under 1000(Queen Victoria's Room)... Two people.... Nowhere else on property comes close to service and food...

We've been there many times, and will absolutely recommend it. We always add the wine pairings, but not much else. In the main dining room, we always run around $600. At the Chef's Table, it was just over $800. I can certainly see Hockey89 spending over $1000, but you don't have to go that high.

It's great food. Keep in mind it can easy be a 2+ hour meal, so it's not just the food, it's a whole experience. My DW and I greatly enjoyed it, but the formality of the experience could make some people uncomfortable. If you like enjoying food (not just shoving it into the mouth) but savoring food and seeing new flavors I highly recommend it.

In addition to the pre fixe and wine pairing list above, there are potential upcharges as well.

You get three choices (most of the time) for each of the courses, and you choose one. Sometimes, however, one of those choices will require an additional charge. For example, most of the time the beef course has one offering that involves kobe style or waygu beef. If you select that dish, it usually runs an extra $50 - $75 more. Some fish is an upcharge too (Dover Sole for example).

You also have the option of purchasing oestra caviar (at around $100 an ounce) to have at the beginning of the meal.

All of these upcharge items are clearly marked on the menu, and there are other choices for each course that do not involve additional charges beyone the pre fixe price.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......

That was hands down the best fish dish (and one of the most memorable dishes period) I have ever ate.

Dover Sole (real Dover sole, from the English Channel, not that other stuff off the West coast) with Meyer Lemon Sauce (with meyer lemons that Chef Hunnel grows in his backyard) and toasted capers.

Worth every penny of the additional cost.

Is there a vegetarian menu?

Yes. They have a sample on their website of what you might be served. They call you before your meal to ask if anyone has any dietary issues or preferences. I just told them I didn't eat meat or meat-derived products (broths, stocks, etc.), but I did eat dairy and eggs. Every meal from there I have had there has been fabulous.

The one time I've been our dinner was just south of $500. We were in the main dining room, got the wine pairings & a couple of up-charge items including that awesome Turbot mentioned above. (Fantastic!) We went a couple of months before they stopped taking TIW, so our bill was lower than it would have been normally. The food & the experience was awesome & I highly recommend it. We'll be back even without the discount. Well worth the price.

Agreed. We are both vegetarian, and I am nearly vegan. The chef will prepare an amazing meal. Well worth every penny.

Remy on the Dream and Fantasy is just as amazing. We had a meal on the fantasy that was damn near the scene with Meg Ryan from When Harry met Sally. After three hours of course after course, we both needed a nap....
