We decided to plan a December trip (after deciding not to go for Halloween) and just hit our 180 day mark. This time we decided to do mostly TS for breakfast and dinner, and take snacks into the park to hold us over between meals. (There will be 4 or us... me, my wife and DS8 and DD6)

Day 1 Saturday 12/13: arrive at Poly at about 1:00ish - dinner at 'Ohana (relax for the rest of the evening)

Day 2 Sunday 12/14: our traditional first full day breakfast at Crystal Palace - dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern (full day at MK & MVMCP)

Day 3 Monday 12/15: breakfast at Kona Cafe - dinner at Boma (Animal Kingdom Lodge) (spend day at AK)

Day 4 Tuesday 12/16: Breakfast - Princess Storybook breakfast (Norway) - dinner at Restaurant Marrakesh (Candlelight Processional package)

Day 5 Wednesday 12/17: Breakfast - Whispering Canyon (Wilderness Lidge)- dinner at 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian) (spend day in Downtown Disney)

Day 6 Thursday 12/18: Breakfast - 'Ohana Best friends Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch - Dinner at [/b]Mama Melrose[/b] (spend day at DHS)

Day 7 Friday 12/19: Breakfast Chef Mickey's (Contemporary) - Dinner at Crystal Palace (spend day at MK) (Thought about trying Tony's but decided against it since recent reviews have been bad and we are eating at Mama Melrose the night before anyhow... didn't need Italian two nights in a row. Haven't eated dinner at Crystal Palace in a few years anyhow.)

Day 8 Saturday 12/20: Breakfast Counter service at Poly (Captain Cook's I think it is called) as we will probably have to leave by 9:30 to get back to the airport for a 12:30 flight.

First time places to eat... Kona Cafe, Whispering Canyon & Captain Cook's... the rest are all repeats.

Sounds very good! I really recommend Captain Cook's for breakfast. It's my favorite counter service breakfast at WDW, IMO.

That's good to know. I have never been there. I haven't even looked online to find a menu for it yet. I'll have to do that at some point.

180 Days and Counting!

It seems like once you hit that 180day mark and can make your diing plans, it just makes the trip seem more real. Anyone else feel that way?

Anywho, special thanks to Pam @ KK, we were able to get reservations at all the places on our list. Way to go Pam!!

Monday, Dec. 15th - plane lands at noon, so we'll grab a quick bite after checking in at the Contemporary, then dinner at Chef Mickey's - this will be a first for me, we've always done breakfast there.

Tuesday the 16th - Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern then off to Mickey's Christmas Party. Ate here last year and loved it.

Wednesday the 17th - Lunch at the Garden Grill - have never eaten here.

Thursday the 18th - Donald's Breakfast at AK - last time I ate here was '98.

Friday the 19th - 5PM Hoop-De-Doo then to the Chip&Dale campfire. These will both be firsts. I though this would be a good wind down for our last night.

Saturday - breakfast at Whispering Canyon, a couple hours @ MK, then catch the bus for the airport at noon.

I'm taking my niece6 & nephew9, which is one reason I've planned so many character meals. They, along with my sister (their grandmother) have never been to the World, and chances are slim of a repeat visit, so I'm pretty excited to get to introduce them to the Magic that is Disney. Now, if I can just manage to keep the secret for 5 more months!!
