Just got something in the mail!!!

I'm sorry I'm very excited and that this would be a perfect place to share my excitement. We just received a small informational letter about planning our trip in September! I knew that we would recieve a package about our trip around the 40 day mark or so but this was unexpected and a very nice Yule gift for us. It's even personalized it with what resort we're staying at and that it's our (well his) first time going to the World. I'm sure everyone gets one of these things but I'm totally geeking out. Just thought I'd share. :sohappy:

I love getting stuff in the mail from Disney, especially if I am not expecting it. The most we ever get though is credit card applications, but still it is Disney. I wish they would send us other things, but I order and ask from the website (maps, dvds, whatever else is free) that way it keeps me anticipating something new.

I booked our April package through Kingdom Konsultants way back in August, and I never have gotten anything in the mail from Disney. All I got was my email confirmation from KK. I guess if you book it through them, the only correspondence you get is from them and not directly from Disney. :shrug:

If my memory serves me, I think that it is approx 4 weeks before you depart for your trip. :wave:

Yes, that is usually how it goes. I used KK last year and never got anything in the mail until our vouchers and luggage tags came.

Yay! It's wonderful getting unexpected stuff from Disney! I rarely get the info packet since I usually don't book my trips more than a month in advance.

I got the same thing! I love how your family name is preprinted on the letter to look like it was made just for you. I keep thoose for our scrapbooks. We are leaving on 9/29. Can't wait!:xmas:

It really makes the statement that your vacation is just around the corner. A friend and I are taking a chartered cruise to Grand Cayman and Jamaica in late January and we'll drive back from Miami to WDW for a long weekend. I absolutely freakin' cannot wait!!
