Just got last minute AP rate

We are leaving in less than 2 weeks.:sohappy:

We are splitting our stay at the AKL (3 nights) and the Poly (7 nights). I was able to apply the AP code to the AKL reservation when they came out. But the Poly LVC was unavailable (despite the fact that I was on the phone less than an hour after the codes were released).

I've been calling back every couple of days to see if anything opened up. The CMs kept telling me to do that, but I got the impression that they didn't think anything would open up.

Anyway, called today and the code was available. Saved me almost $500 from my AAA rate.

I'm psyched.

The moral is: keep calling back - you never know.

That is great, have a wonderful trip.

Mrs Phd. :sohappy: :sohappy:

We are leaving in a little over 2 weeks, but only hitting Vero Beach this trip (DVC.) Really looking forward to it. I will be 26 weeks pregnant and our DD is 3 years old so we just need a relaxing trip to the beach this time. We fly into Orlando and are afriad DD is really going to beg to go to WDW, I don't know if we can say no to her when it comes to WDW, so we might spend on day at MK, but we don't plan on it. (our AP just expired las month and we are not getting new ones for a year or so.)

I can relate. I always find myself wishing that the APs last 13 months. Seems like my trips are always the month after mine expire.

I am sure that your DD won't even know she is in Orlando unless you tell her...she is too young to make the correlation...or is she? Either way, have a great trip, PhD...how are you, anyways?

My husband and I did a long weekend at Disney's Vero Beach without kids and we flew into West Palm Beach airport rather than Orlando. The driving distance from either airport is just about the same. The main reason I didn't want to go through Orlando airport was because we weren't going to WDW :( Despite the WDW disappointment, we did have a very relaxing weekend with just enough Disney to satisfy me.

Something to keep in mind for any future trips you may have to Vero Beach when your DD is older.
