Well.. on Thursday. To those of you who have been to Disneyland AND WDW... does everything in Disneyland seem to be a lot quicker to you, or is that just me?
I'm not sure if it's a Disneyland thing, or if it's because this was my first time in one of the parks during a peak time, but every single ride, even the dark rides, seemed like they were MUCH faster. Not that there was less in them, but that they were moving faster. It was really disappointing when things like Splash Mountain and Peter Pan's Flight were a lot quicker and I couldn't look around and savor all the details.
Just wondering if this is just me or if it's true.
Another thing I noticed is that ... there must not be any cast member entrance/exit areas because, man, they were everywhere, and carrying around their purses and lunch bags and talking on their cell phones while in full costume. It doesn't bother me, and they were all really friendly, it's just so different.
All in all, I am really glad I went and I had a very good time... I just don't think I'll ever want to go back there. I feel like I did everything I wanted to do in the 2.25 days I was in the parks, but in WDW, I have never felt like I was finished. I mean, yes, DL really does have that extra-magic feeling of being the only park Walt ever set foot in, and yes, some rides are so much better (Space Mountain and Pirates blew me away)... but overall, WDW is home to me.
