i was amazed to see how many members there were, and they came in groups on different weekends, so i never saw all of them together! they were a very dedicated bunch, and nice to chat with before parades.

As a matter of fact, I do. They call them selves the 501st because it sounded cool when they were coming up with a name(so they could say they were the "Fighting 501st.") Actually, their official name is Vader's Fist and they have David Prowse(Darth Vader in the physical costume for the OT) as their Official Leader. I have always enjoyed the Star Wars weekends. Especially the Stormtroopers on top of the main entrance.

the year i worked at disney-mgm studios was the year there wasn't even a real starwars weekends. It was one weekend, no famous people. Just some characters signing autogrpahs and a pin. No special events, no stormtroopers at the entrance, nothing.
It was extreamly disappointing
