this was my familys first trip to disney since the early days. and wow , was i surprised. we styayed at carribean beach , very nice resort. i was scared after reading comments on here about it.but it was very cast friendly. we got to watch the fire works from epcot that was kewl. the Food at the resort was Good, and alot of it too. now on to the parks.
sat- after driving around orlando for 4 hours waiting on our room to be ready.
got to the room, took a rest then headed out to downtown disney in the rain. ate at the house of blues. my dad got the jumblya , that was very good. I had the cajun meatloaf. Hob was awesome, i recommend it .
got back to the resort ansd went to watch fire works across the lake.
sun- Got up early say about 6am , got ready and went to MGM(disney hollywood studios)got there for the rope drop , that was kewl to see.
got the first ride of the day on the great movie ride. that was fun.didnt know a cast member could be so perky during the morning.. lol , i was delying my trip tp rockin roller coster. more on that later. we caught every show.
the little mermaid was nice. i wanted to catch the acapella group at the start of the beauty and the best show , but didnt make it in time , bc a friend told me they were good. later in the afternoon , the high light of my trip happend, and i wonder why i waited so late to do this. but i rode rockin roller coster, Dude that was awesome,. im not big on roller costers. but this is no coaster..
the g forces really get you. i not only rode it once but twice. after fantaismic
me and my dad head towards the RNr.the best ride at the stuidos. I lost my voice for the next 2 days after RNr.
Mon- the day i had waited for a long time , MGM was fun. but i had wanted this day . first stop after the gate we hit the haunted mansion. and the wait was only like 5 minutes. ( every ride in all the parks , were very little)
but we got on it was amazing , the attic bride scence was working the A game. but the bad thing about it stoped at the grave yard scence coming backwards down the hill. (not once but all 3 times we rode it) then after that we went to the hall of presidents. i noticed some details. the place to eat at magic kingdom is cosmic rays. it was out standing. Mickeys pilharmagic was kewl. got my me and mom got our pitcure taken with goofy. Poc was kewl. awesome affects. went and rose haunted mansion after the spectro prade
Tue- was epcot. nice park. the ball lit up at night was nice. it was funny, how some guest who were not there for extra magicv hours wanted to get in but couldnt , they walked up but were turned away. it was nice having a key to the world card. lol. we headed for test track . that ride is swwweet. . and amzing at night in the rain. then we hit the honey i shrunk the ad. movie,
it was okay , but the worst one out of the 4 we saw last week.
walking along after that , we ran into figment , i got my photo with him.. lol. ues then we rode the Imagination ride. i was remembering the old ride all the way though the new one. "One spark of light".. then off to world show case.
Got to see off kilter , they were neat. they are what i expect after hearing talk abou them on here. then we went and found chip and dale. and got photos with them. went in the old wonders of life pavillion. it was a trip down memory lane. i liked it!. then off to the universe of energy. cute little show with ellen. after that it started to rain and so we fast passed test track again. this time it had a kewl affect. the rain. we come out of the door and wham the rain. hit us. i went back to get me a stuffed figment, but they were closed.
but we ate at san agleos inn,. very good stuff.
wed- Halloween.. animal kingdom. very nice. (didnt rain this day)for a change. primal whirl was fun. you need a doctor after it though. then hit dinasour. again, very intense. ride. today was musical /show day. festival of the lion king was kewl., and nemo was as well.but all in all a good day.
after that we went to downtown disney and the board walk for a few minutes.
Carribean resort- very nice , very friendly. Nice views at 6am and 7am. food quilty very good,. and alot of it!
just like cosmic rays. i suggest the 1/2 chicken and ribs. lol.. man. yum
