I find it funny too. Do people seem to have some sort of urge to throw coins in the water after going down the drop at Splash Mountain? As for "it's a small world," I think those coins are going for the heads of the singing children.

I think your right about It's a Small World! I do not understand why but I HAVE to go on that ride at least once while I am there. I think it was closed for refurb a few years back and I was actually sad about it. Maybe I just have fond memories of that ride because my grandma loved it.

WOW! I did not know the money went to charities. I always thought they just went to the park to aid in cleaning or what not. Why doesn't Disney promote this kind of thing more?

You need to watch out for the singing children on IASW. They are actally alive and will throw things back. I also found out that the majority of them are undocumented, illegal aliens. :lol:
