Just bought annual pass. Do I have to pay for parking first time until I get to guest services?

Is my confirmation email on my phone going to get me through parking so I don't have to pay? I need to get my annual passes at guest services that is past the parking toll. Will they believe I'm an annual passholder by just my email confirmation?

What do I show to the parking toll people to get through without paying for parking if I don't have the annual passes in my hands? The confirmation on my phone?
If you go to Disney Springs as was suggested you will have a pass to show them otherwise they are likely to make you pay but I have no recent experience with that

I would just show them the AP on your phone and tell them it’s not activated yet…they may let you through…if not and you pay, when you activate them at guest relations, I would think they will credit you somehow on your MB maybe you can use the credit for food or souvenirs.

Just like @Smiley/OCD wrote. You should have your AP on your MDE account. It’s under the Tickets box. Open that and it will show you’re an AP holder. Then you can activate your AP to enter the parks. We’ve used the MDE App to shown our AP status when we purchase something that falls under an AP discount.

Another idea: You can always go the night before you plan to go to the park and activate your passes. They stop charging for parking about 3 hours before closing time. I have showed up at Animal Kingdom for a dining reservation at 5:45pm and no one was there to collect parking fees.
