Woohoo. Going September 3-10. Very excited to see the new remodeld rooms. As we always have to go during the summer and Christmas or Easter, I am looking forward to what I hope will be less crowds, even with the "free" dining plan. (which I never book, and it is not "free"lol). Discounted room for 7 nights is $1038, if I get two 4 day passes, that brings the cost up to about $1500..the free dining plan runs about $1900. I assume its because you have to pay for the photobook and other things we don't want)

Awesome, congrats! That's one of my favorite resorts. You are sure to find smaller crowds on this trip. I stayed late in August before and it was wonderful. Hot, but wonderful for small crowds.

I would've done the same thing as you, with the way you booked. I always choose room discounts over free dining. Have a great trip! :wave:

my all time favorite moderate resort. i love the size, the food court is good for what it is, no matter where your room is you're close to everything. the landscaping/appearance is just pretty. really like that they've changed to queen sized beds and the redecorated rooms are warm feeling, very nice. we're booked for our 4th stay just after thanksgiving.

This is one of our favs as well. We love POR and booked the same for Christmas again this year. Last year was our first and we are thrilled to be able to do it again. Have a blast...we know we will!

Congrats! We were at PORS last November. My biggest gripe was how long the transportation took. Otherwise it was a great resort!

We'll be at the World during the same time as you (9/4 to 9/10). Maybe we'll run into you!
