Just booked our first cruise-questions!

Well I'm super excited to say I finally did it! I booked our first disney cruise! My husband and I will be celebrating our first anniversary on the disney dream, from September 18-21, selected a category 6a room, deck 9 or 10 i believe! It is a 3 night Bahamas cruise followed by 6 nights in disney.

Questions..
- is there pirate night on a 3 night cruise? If so which night is it?
-I selected the first dining rotation, about what time is that? The main reason I selected it is that we would prefer to see shows after dinner..
-any excursions you would recommend in Nassau, we are heavily considering something that includes Atlantis.
- about what time will the transfers pick us up from art of animation? And what time do you return to disney resorts on disembarkation day?

Congrats on booking your cruise. I can answer some of your questions and hopefully some of the experts will join in also.
-Pirate night- There is a a pirate night on a 3 day cruise. if I recall it is the night you leave the Nassau.
-Dining- On the first dining rotation you can get into the restaurant at 5:45. If you are on early dining you see the show after. If you are on the second dining you see the show before you eat.
-Transfers- I think Disney starts picking up at the resorts about 11:00. When we were picked up last year at Boardwalk it wasn't until 12:00 or so. They went to the other EPCOT resorts and we were on our way. On the way back you get on the bus and head back to Disney.
We have never done an excursion at Nassau so I can't help on that one.

Congrats!!! you will love the Dream we did our first cruise this past september on the Dream room 9025....we did the water park excursion at Nassua. Loved it had a blast on their not so lazy river. We went thru disney and it was twice the price. you can get a cab from the port to Atlantis and buy the passes there much much cheaper.
