Just booked my first on-property stay!!!

I'm so excited, I have to share with people who really understand!! Although we have gone to WDW many times in the past, we have never stayed on Disney property or dined at the table service restaurants. This is the trip I have dreamed about my entire lifetime. I just booked our 10 day, 9 night stay at CBR for this Fall. Only you folks can truly appreciate how excited I am right now. I have been saving for this trip for about 3 years now, and it has finally gone from a dream to reality.

Now just waiting for April to roll around so I can make my ADR's. I already have my lists made.

that is the BEST!!! You will have SUCH a great time!!! Making ADRs is almost as exciting as making ressies for your resort!!! I have 278 days to go and already checking menus!! That is SO awesome for you Congrats!!!!!!!

Enjoy your planning, but the thing is now you will learn so much more about tactics in the Disney vacation scheme of things. Once I started staying on site years ago I learned so much more about my vacation experience. It's kind of hard to explain to someone whose a diehard Disney fan on a board but mark my words your going to see a whole new side of the resort and in the end learn new ways to spend your visit. Did I mention you will never stay off site again lol.

CBR was our first on site resort back in 2004. Loved it. The fact that your now staying inside the bubble takes your vacation to another level. Before you go to bed at night,look to the stars,if you see a shooting one,relax,it's just a fairy heading home.

Congratulations! There is no comparison. Once you stay on site, well, it kind of spoils you in a very good way.

Ten years ago we where one of those families who stayed off also... That summer we got our first taste of staying onsite.. Loved it!!! A year later we purchased DVC and never looked back...

Congrats! You'll immediately love the convenience of staying on property, disney magic 24 hours a day! Getting to and from the parks is much easier especially if you need breaks in between.

My DH gave me grief the first time I booked on property because he felt it would be too costly, but after that first stay he said "we are never staying off property again". When I think of New Years 1995, being six months pregnant, with a 4 1/2 year old and taking two hours to get out of the park, to the parking lot and back to our hotel off property at 3 a.m., I was determined to ONLY stay on property from that point on.

Congrats, That was my first resort, if I hadn't got the deluxe then the DVC Bug That would still be on our list, but it would be a coin toss between CBR and PORS. TTFN Jo
