The Kitchen (4) - Very good breakfast buffet.
Springfield Fast Food (2) - Great atmosphere. Very basic, unhealthy food.

Agreed!! The Kitchen breakfast was soooo amazing and well worth the money. Springfield is awesome, eating a krusty burger in Moe's Tavern with a Flaming Moe to wash it down - beyond exciting for my two boys (and the husband. Ok, and totally me too!!)

Like @danpam1024 said, in HRH, and the quality and choice on offer is amazing. We have free dining at WDW for first half of our trip and have a few buffet breakfasts booked - they are great but no competition, food wise and cost wise, for The Kitchen. Definitely on our list for our HRH stay.:):hungry:

We'll have to check it out. I confess that we always stay at the rpr and ver hotel hop.

The price is good if you have kids too, unlike Islands at Royal Pacific.

Bubba Gump (2) - Loved it.
Hard Rock (2) - Eh, whatever.
Red Oven Pizza (4) - Loved it.
The Palm (2) - Loved it.
Mythos - OK. Menu has gone downhill a bit.
Antojitos - Nasty. Never again.
Mama Dellas - Very good.
The Kitchen (4) - Very good breakfast buffet.
Springfield Fast Food (2) - Great atmosphere. Very basic, unhealthy food.
Thunder Falls Terrace - Decent for quick service.
Louies - Pizza is OK, but Universal should be embarrassed at the prices.
Margaritaville - Underwhelming. Plus, not a fan of Jimmy Buffet.

Couple of other fast food joints throughout the parks.
Interesting about antojito's. Most people I've talked to love it. But a few really dislike the place.

I personally think it's pretty good. Better than the uber hip Rocco's Tacos down on Sand Lake.

I have eaten at Antojito's a couple of times and enjoyed it, I usually stop in for one of their killer margaritas if I am in the area but not eating.

Would be interesting to know what you found bad enough to not ever go back? Bad service - bugs? Killer babies by the restroom?

Ten days at Hard Rock is my dream! Lucky you. I do agree the Kitchen has the best breakfast buffet I've ever has outside of Florence Italy. That one had free, unlimited mimosas. ;)

FYI- if you get the buffet at The Kitchen, they will make you pretty much ANY kind of eggs at the omlette station- the kid always gets eggs benedict. Not many places will do that, especially since the eggs are on the "regular" menu. Hubs gets the Lox and it's enough for two very hungry people.

So are we talking to Dan or Pam? I am easily confused.

I agree- We've eaten at Antonjito's several times and it was absolutely delicious (especially their drinks).
It always amazes me how people rave about Margaritaville- it's chain restaurant crap:depressed: and the service is absolutely terrible. TERRIBLE!
People never give Bob Marley's a chance, and I really think that's a huge mistake- the food is so authentic and delicious- something you really can't get everywhere. IDK, when I'm on vacation, I want to get something I can't get at home.
Cowfish is just THE BOMB! I love everything about the place. Just thinking about it now makes me salivate :hungry::hungry::hungry:
Vivo is fantastic as well, especially for an Italian place- not just oodles of noodles.
Best meal on property is room service while I'm chillin' in bed :)

I just didn't find anything on the menu that sounded all that good. I ended up getting the chimichanga, took 1 bite and almost lost my breakfast. Just wasn't for me.

I agree about Margaritaville. Waste. We did Vivo when it first opened and weren't impressed. The chicken parm couldn't hold a candle next to the same at The Palm. I think Bubba Gump is the all around winner at City Walk for me.

Nothing compares to the Palm! Impecable service and food. Worth every penny.
