Just a reminder, take your guest survey

Yeah i think they must have black listed us on Surveys. But i have never felt the surveys arent set up to be allowed to be negative, its in most surveys now they are all carefully worded and some even only allow certain responses, all in all a truely objective survey from Disney I havent seen since at least the 80's
That may have been true in the past, but the most recent survey I received let me really go to town on the entire park reservations/Genie+/ILL/limited park hopper mess. There was plenty of opportunity to tell them what I thought.

I'm not saying this is you but I believe if you are marked as unreasonable, unhelpful or an outlier you may not receive any more surveys. I can't confirm this for certain though.

After being a 30 plus year guest, u would think that, our last 2 visits never got surveys pre and post apocalypse 😁 We got them all other times

I've heard recently a scathing response on one of these surveys resulted in a make good gift card. Do they still do that?
In one of the rare surveys I got (pre COVID), I gave my very honest feedback about our trip to the Poly (in a nutshell, the trip didn’t go well, but we didn’t say anything at the time because we were there celebrating a friend’s cancer milestone and we didn’t want to ruin that in any way). A day or two later, I got a call from someone who said they read the survey and were VERY apologetic. They invited us back for a redo trip. So, sometimes, someone DOES read the survey (not just the computer) and sometimes they do try to make it right.

Our “Go to” resort is POFQ. Each time we’ve stayed there in the past 3-4 years, we have received a survey. In that time we’ve also stayed at CM, GF, POP, and FW. On those stays, we did not receive a survey post trip. Our stays at POFQ are always longer than the other resorts. We always take the time to complete them.

Guest surveys seem like they've always been structured and worded to give them the feedback that they want (or expect) to receive.
That’s because they’re made up by the same people who create the political polls…they can determine their favored outcome by the way they are worded…

That's honestly surprising and disappointing.
We haven’t gotten one in our last 4 trips…there was a time we gave them great positive feedback, now, it they won’t get a great review from us…we will and do send in comments for great CM’s, but I think they’re afraid of hearing from us now.

I know they read and follow up with emails because over the years I have written about some VERY specific things and followed up on them and they have been addressed. So somewhere, someone is reading emails and getting them to the right area.

As for surveys, I ate at Turf Club last week and less than 24 hours later got an email asking about my experience, probably 40 questions. I feel it’s days are numbered.

I wonder too if different business units can pay more to have more surveys sent to their specific guests?

I take it back. I searched my email and I have received one survey from Disney.

It was a survey about shopping at World of Disney, though. They've never sent me a survey about my resort stay, my experience at the parks, my meals at any restaurant, etc. -- just the one survey about World of Disney.

I actually think that the opinions of first or second time guests are more important to them than returning guests…we returning guests are going to bring up the things that are going downhill or haven’t been fixed. First or second timers aren’t going to notice those recurring problems, so they can turn around and say “see, the guests don’t care that the leprechaun AA’s haven’t worked in iasw for three years”. THATS what they want to see and hear…makes for great meetings.

On my last trip in May, I received a survey for my stay at AKL but not for the parks. I wished I received ones for the parks, especially my HS days. A lot went wrong on the first HS day and I wonder if that's why they didn't send me one.

I have said in other threads that I no longer get sent surveys. I know a few years ago, they would occasionally pull you off to the side and ask if you would like to participate in a survey. Do they still do that? They did send my mom a survey after our trip earlier this month where it asked her to break down how she spent her money on the trip.

I was surprised the most recent survey I received, along with asking the usual race/gender/income questions, also asked if I identified as LGBTQ+. That was a new one. Wonder if they'll do that every survey from this point on as a regular demographic question or if it was specifically for visits during Pride Month?

(That was a DLR survey for reference.)

I have noticed the roaming survey takers in the parks, but not as many as in the past. I often wonder what they look for when they decide to approach someone for a survey.

They don’t want a Disney “vet”… they’re looking for “newbies”, people who aren’t going to complain about lingering problems and, of course, avoiding all large family group fights…lol
