i saw the other post about their flight being changed. Now I booked my flight through Disney when we booked our trip. If that were to happen to us would disney let us know if our flight was changed or delta?

Speaking from my experience with the trip we just booked with Disney including flights, they informed us of changes. Our flight numbers(not times) have changed twice and each time I got a letter in the mail from Disney letting us know. I am still going to call Delta closer to our departure time, which is in Dec., just to make sure everything is on on schedule.

When an airline ticket is booked through a travel agent, the agent is the one informed of any changes in flights. It is up to the agent to inform their customers.
Because the Disney Travel Company is acting as your agent, they'll be the ones directly informed of any flight changes. (though you can always check the flight schedules yourself by going to the airline's website)

From what I understand if your flight time is moved by less than a half hour then the airline is not required to notify passengers. The catch to that rule is they can move it by 25 minutes and then another 25 minutes and not be required to notify you. So if you book months in advance, technically your flight time could drift by hours and you might never receive any notification.

This is one of the nasty games that airlines are allowed to play.

Your best bet is to periodically check your flight times and if they move too much call your travel agent (if they booked the flight) or the airline directly. The only other thing you can do is choose an airline that does not tend to change it's flight schedule too much like Southwest or Jet Blue.

We're booked on Jet Blue in December and the flight number and times have stayed steady since we booked way back in June.

I was booked on AirTran for 2 non stop flights and they changed my return flight to a stop over in Atlanta without notification. After reading someone else's post about AirTran I was able to cancel and get a full refund on my flight. After that I booked with American for $200 less than what I originally paid and got 2 non-stop flights.
