Just a little bit of magic!

For some reason, when I went to get an ice cream cone at the parlor on Main Street, I was lucky and go this very large "dream cone" which was huge and even had Mickey Mouse ears! I was surprised, but that made my night.

I know to many of you this will be considered "normal" by Adventurers Club standards, but it got me hooked on Disney World for life, so it's magical to me... My sister and I were very young and my parents took us into the AC for the first time. We were immediately greeted at the door by a CM who bent down to my younger sister and said with an intentionally-stressed smile "there's nothing to be afraid of... nothing at all! perfectly safe, dear, perfectly safe", and then as my sister got past her she grabbed my shoulders, lost the smile, and said "be afraid... be very very afraid"... It was hilarious, and the one moment of my childhood trip to Disney that I remember above all others.

Two years ago we (family of 6, two of which were 20), were there during the torrential rain week in May, and we were walking through Fantasyland, all huddled under our umbrellas, when someone approached us from Mrs. Potts Cupboard carrying a HUGE, HUGE sundae. She told us we were selected as an honorary family for the day and had been bestowed this HUGE sundae dessert. You would think we were all 5 years old again, diving in with our spoons, having our dessert before we had our lunch. Made for a wonderful memory from our rainy, rainy vacation. It was truely our Magical Moment from that vacation. :slurp:

We got engaged at Disney so we went to the Wave the next night to celebrate and the bartendar gave us a free champagne toast. Then we honeymooned at Disney (notice a pattern lol) and we struck up a conversation with a CP cast member sweeping around the tables in the America section of Epcot. She noticed our buttons, asked if we would be there for a second and came back with an apple tart like dessert for us. Then when we were leaving to walk to the next country another CM stopped us and told us he had an important call from us. He escorted us into the lobby of the theatre, picked up the phone, dialed some numbers and had us listen. It was a pre-recorded message from Mickey and Minnie congratulating us lol. When we had finished listening to the message the CM made us a handwritten calogriphy certificate also congratulating us. In AK I got a corndog and the CM told me it was on him (because of our honeymoon buttons). Those little things were so special to us.
